Our Baptist Heritage predates the use of the name "Baptist". We believe our heritage started with New-Testament churches. Originally all churches looked to Jesus as their head and tried to follow Him. In time, church hierarchies began to form, but there were always churches who remained independent of the hierarchies and remained true to Jesus as the only head of the church.
